Synstat® Touch Antidecubito
Synstat® Touch tri-modular antidecubitus static reactive mattress, manufactured asone-block with incisions on flexion points, or as three or more sections with whole or articulated cover. Provides high postural comfort for patients in ordinary, specialised and at risk of decubitus.
Recommended for posture with very low compressive gradient on the musculo-skeletal system, which is crucial in the prevention of pressure caused skin lesions and in the treatment of pain and inflammatory symptoms.
The tri-modular structure with the intermediate layer and the leaning surface manufactured with memory-less materials, allow a drastic reduction of compression onto body tissues both on vertical and tangential (friction) component, ideal posture and comfort in different kind of hospitalizations and an effective prevention activity on low-medium-high risk patients, as well as the healing effect for stage 1 decubitus lesions.
The padding material is open-cells alveolar structured in order to ensure high transpiration. The base module is manufactured with ‘cradle’ pattern and with containment edges in expanded polyurethane, polyether type 40S non-deformable, high density (40 kg/m3) in order to allow adequate support and safety to the patient.
The intermediate module, with antidecubitus function, is manufactured with Synergel® (density 60 kg/m3, medium-high bearing capacity), a special expanded copolymer of thermo-press-formable polyether with non-measurable elastic response (resilience) according to UNI regulations, and the “soft-touch” leaning surface is manufactured in 50S/VE viscoelastic polyurethane, with ‘wave’ pattern (density 50 Kg/m3, medium-low bearing capacity).
