Synergel®

Synergic Italiana was founded and then developed with the aim to design and manufacture Synergel®, an innovative high-technology cellular foam featuring advanced functional and postural performances.

Synergel® is a special shape-memory expanded thermo-press-formable polymeric foam, with the following key features: flexibility, visco-elastic mouldability, lack of compressive elastic response.

Its special composition and its structure manufactured with open-adjoining alveolar cells, allow Synergel® to adapt to the body through a thermal action and facilitate the normal perspiration of the body tissues.

Synergel® reduces elastic-compressive counterthrusts on bone salience, joints, muscles and peripheral vascular system providing an optimal distribution of the body weigh onthe whole leaning surface as well as a physiological posture in specialised and at risk of decubitus hospitalizations.

 

Synergel® does not compress body tissues

High performance static-reactive mattresses for the prevention of bedsores, made from Synergel® and techno-polymers by Synergic Italiana, have average pressure values significantly lower than the reference standard of 4,256 Kpa observed in medical literature (C.O.P.: capillary occlusion pressure) which has been certified by ErgoCert through their biomedical tests (academic spin-off of the University of Udine, Biomedical Science and Technology Department).

All static reactive mattresses manufactured by Synergic Italiana exert no compression on the body tissues. The percentage of the body surface stimulated by pressure is always lower than the safety limit of 20%.
