The advantage of viscoelastic foams is that they are adaptable to the body weight and provide an even distribution of the weight over the whole contact surface, thus minimising pressure points and avoiding any damage to the blood circulation. Viscoelastic materials have high breathability and thanks to this, the polyurethane foam of the mattress can easily self-mold due to the body heat. Moreover, such material allows a better transpiration in the contact areas, reducing discomfort related to heat and perspiration. Viscoelastic materials also eliminate tensions and improve blood circulation, thus reducing stress and providing good sleep.
